We encourage everyone to get involved in a group so that we can mutually help each other to grow in our faith, fellowship & service. We have found that being part of a smaller more intimate group that meets weekly or fortnightly also helps to feel part of the Taunton Baptist Church family.

We have groups that meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays evenings and also groups that meet Thursday morning and Thursday afternoon. Some meet on homes around the town, some at the church and some via Zoom.

Our verse for 2022 reminds us of the Lord’s command to us: “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth”. However, many of us are unsure about sharing our faith, but don’t worry- help is at hand! From January until Easter the home groups are using resources from www.apassionforlife.org.uk to help us to become more confident, competent and inspired to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
If you are not currently a member of a home group, we would love you to join one so that you can participate in this training too! Some groups meet weekly, some fortnightly; some meet in the evenings, some during the daytime; some in person, some on Zoom – so there will be a group that would suit you!
